Carbon raiser is a big category that includes calcined petroleum coke(CPC), graphite petroleum coke(GPC), calcined anthracite coal(CAC), and natural graphite. Due to the high price of natural graphite, it is not suitable for steelmaking or casting, so calcined petroleum coke, graphite petroleum coke, and calcined coal are more suitable for the current steelmaking and casting process.

The charging method of electric furnace smelting should be to put the carburizing agent together with the scrap materials such as scrap steel. The small amount of addition can be added to the surface of the molten iron. However, it is necessary to avoid feeding large quantities into the molten iron, in order to prevent too much oxidation and the situation that the carbon increase effect is not obvious and the carbon content of the casting is insufficient.

Calcined coal anthracite is also known as coal quality recarburizer, generally using anthracite as raw material, 92 coal or 95 coal for production, mainly used for steelmaking and gray iron use, under normal circumstances, carbon content between 90%~93%, sulfur content between 0.3%~0.5%.It is used in casting factory and reatated metallurgical industry.
