1. High fixed carbon. Fixed carbon content ≥ 95% Microscopic morphology: excellent crystallinity and quality, effectively improving the grade and performance of cast iron
2. Low sulfur and low nitrogen. Sulfur and nitrogen are below 0.05 High absorption rate. According to the method of use, the absorption rate can reach more than 90%.
The use of carburizer in casting can greatly increase the amount of scrap steel, reduce the amount of pig iron or do not use pig iron. In the feeding method of electric furnace melting, the carburizer should be put into the furnace together with the furnace charge such as scrap steel, and the addition of small doses can be selected to add on the surface of hot metal. However, it is necessary to avoid putting material into the hot metal in large quantities to prevent excessive oxidation and the carburization effect is not obvious and the carbon content of the casting is not enough.
