Product Description
Petroleum coke is the black solid coke produced by cracking and coking the vacuum residue of petroleum at 500 ~ 550ºC in a coking device. Its appearance is black or dark gray honeycomb structure, the pores in the coke block are mostly oval, and each other through. It is generally considered to be amorphous carbon; Or a highly aromatized polymer carbide, containing tiny graphite crystals of the needle or granular structure of the carbon body.
Petroleum coke is an important carbon material, which has the characteristics of high carbon fixation content, high calorific value, high strength, high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance.
Metallurgical Coke and Foundry Coke are made from a mixing material of serval kinds of coal,under a high temperature(1300ºC) process. They are widely used for steelmaking,ferroalloys manufacture or non-ferrous metals smelting, iron castings manufacture or other related metallurgical and foundry industry, because of its special physical and chemical characteristics:high strength and fixed carbon content, low sulfur and low volatile matter content.
